Hi, thanks for an enjoyable read.

First off, Siggor is not a Real name :D im guessing his name was Sigurður.

Secondly i think you misjudged the people. Most of us never felt the Boom. All this time the while the GDP went up, the low incomes stayed in place but prices went up and up. In 2000 i could get a Hot Dog for 70 kr. Now it costs 250 kr and my hourly income is the same. Every year i could buy less for my kr.

The only thing that changed was credit, it was everywhere and it was easy to get.

We watched these greedy businessmen make hundreds of millions, and getting on the Forbes richest men list... I couldn't afford gas on my car.

And now that these businessmen have left the country with huge sums of money and still own the profitable parts of there old company's, we have to pay there billions in liabilities, for example some 300.000 depositors in IceSave.

And after everything blowes over, and we need our friends the most; they stab us in the back. Norway, the richest country in the world (per capita) and our neigbour and relitive deny's us of any loans until we agree to pay back money we could never pay.

All those people bumping into you, likely just lost their job, life savings and/or have debts that are 100 times bigger then there assets.

My future is in shambles and what did i do to deserve it?
