| Tree | Sure hope it’s not Wm. Duma!!! ********** Minister in massage mess Tuesday, 21 February 2012 A Malaysian woman has reportedly fled Papua New Guinea after being threatened with deportation by a “senior minister” and his entourage for refusing to provide massages. While The National referred to the place as a “popular health centre” it would seem that the location was one of the handful of Chinese-run massage parlours in Port Moresby. According to the report, the unnamed senior minister led a group of more than ten men which showed up at the premises at 10:30pm while their scheduled massage booking was for 9pm. The Malaysian woman reportedly told the men there was not enough time to perform the massage because closing time was at 11pm. For this, she was reportedly threatened with deportation from the men. When they arrived at the business the next day they were told she had already left PNG. “They refused to leave but when shown a copy of the air ticket, rushed to the airport in an apparent attempt to detain her,” the newspaper further reported. The woman reportedly fled on February 12. Curiously, the minister involved was not named – possibly out of fear of reprisal – but his identity is likely to have been known by the newspaper. |

| Palmtok | Deputy PM Namah would be a more likely candidate. He’s had quite a history (I posted an article last week about a young woman that had fled PNG after spurning Mr Namah’s advances after a very unpleasant encounter with him). Sounds very similar in that the person feels her life could be in danger, so they head out. |

| strategyguy536 | It sounds like “deportation” might have been only part of the threat; e.g., “deportation in a box,” since the woman self-deported in any event. I am trying to imagine the race to the airport. Here in Texas we’d be sure tequila was involved. |
