GULF IMPACT PROJECTS



The Gulf Provincial Government, will spend 108-million Kina on major projects in Kerema District.



Governor, Havila Kavo announced this on independence day.

These project include, a 12-million Kina three-storey office for the Provincial Government and one-million Kina, for Bank South Pacific building.

Kavo says, 10-million Kina from the National Government will be used to upgrade and seal Kerema town roads.

A further 80-million Kina has been approved for the same work along the Kerema-Malalaua road.

The Gulf Governor says, Malaysian businessmen arrive in the province this week, to develop oil palm at Ihu and Baimuru L-L-G's.

In human resources, Mr. Kavo says Malalaua Vocational Centre has been re-opened, to train young people in preparation for the L-N-G projects in Gulf.

Gee, I wonder which L-N-G projects he is talking about???? Good find, Freddie!
