Earnings are second of May, these could finally provide the critical mass to drive through this resistance, which is a matter of time anyway, considering the growth in deals, revenue, earnings, cash flow, etc.

Pretty sure earnings won't be until closer to May 15th.  They just released the 20F.  They need time to turn to 1q13 now.

Here is what Yahoo says:
Next Earnings Date: 3-May-13

But then again, this is Yahoo..

NQ was able to announce their 20f on 4/19/12 and their 1q12#'s by 5/7/12. So I think they should be able to announce on the week of the 6th.

Just curious, last year the stock sold off hard after 1st Q earnings were released.

According to Yahoo, they met the estimate of 13 cents. Anyone recall the circumstances?

Looks like earnings were in line q2 an q3, then they blew out the estimates for q4.

This year is back end loaded also.

The company announced a secondary after 1Q earnings last year.  This killed the stock price.  NQ management realized it was a massive screw-up and the founders and insiders signed a 2 year lock-up from June 2012 - 2014.

No issue anymore.

Thanks, that makes sense.

Couple of other things:

Is everyone comfortable that they if fact do have customers in China, contrary to what the shorts are suggesting. Fraud is a serious allegation. It would seem that some one on the ground in China could easily verify this.

Also, the company is pretty aggressive in their sales estimates for both the gaming company and Nations sky, yet, and correct me if I am wrong, they didn't pay much for either one of them.

I work with 2 separate on the ground teams in China and both independently vetted NQ.  Both came back with solid reports.  Hence, this is why NQ won America Movil, numerous Verizon retailer chains, US Cellular, etc.

Feiliu is a massive homerun.  Nobody even knows about the business and its killing it.  The China mobile gaming market is growing 90% a year.

NationSky has over 1200 enterprise customers and numerous Fortune 500 companies.  Also doing very well.

The short article mentioned that China Mobile was cracking down on unauthorized fees on pre-paid cards.

I noticed in Managements discussion of the gross margin for 2012 there is no mention of pre-paid cards. Conversely, in 2011 they are credited with expanding the GM from 70% in 2010 to 80% in 2011.

Are pre=paid cards still a profitable piece of business? Do you think there was an issue? ARPU did decline 1% in the 4q.
