RE: TOT Slides - Stavros - 09-23-2015

Papua LNG is mentioned prominently on 4 slides of this Presentation:

Numbers: 7, 35, 41 and 46

Interestingly, they don't mention InterOil or Oil Search

Several times they mentioned that they were previously successful in selling ALL LNG from their projects on long-term offtake agreements.
So ... hopefully for Papua LNG, they will also pre-sell all the LNG (not just JFT's 75%) and will not have to rely on Spot Markets.

A very bright woman in the audience asked whether TOTAL has contemplated partnering with ExxonMobil to supply gas to PNG LNG for their expansion.
The TOTAL CEO jumped in to answer the question ... all the while with a big SMILE on his face.
He said "For now, we can say that we are building Papua LNG next to the PNG LNG plant."
He said they are having discussions and implied that the situation will change in the future.

RE: TOT Slides - Tree - 09-23-2015

Ooops, there is a little qualifier in the bottom left corner of slide 7.

RE: TOT Slides - Stavros - 09-23-2015

That note about $ 60 per barrel oil post 2017 is meaningless for this slide.
In the presentation, Patrick Pouyanné used that figure several times when he spoke about TOTAL's ability to pay their dividend from organic cash flow ... see slide 13

TOTAL is convinced that Oil price (Brent) will be measurably higher than $60 per barrel post 2017

RE: TOT Slides - Palm - 09-23-2015

And the overlying theme in this is ratcheting down costs across the board to get more lean and make IRR work with lower commodity prices.

RE: TOT Slides - Tusker - 09-23-2015

Perhaps a theme of less notice may be found on slides 33 & 35.

#33 YR16-18 High-Impact Exploration Prospects (PNG). 100M-500M Three blue circles

#35 PRL 15 Three orange shaded regions

A multi year budgeted exploration program for Papua LNG?

Perhaps

RE: TOT Slides - Palm - 09-23-2015

Ant S def is 2016 event and then those other 3 prospects in PRL15 that there is great excitement about.

Chances are Ant 6 will be the last well drilled in 2015 as Ant7 has been pushed back to be a post-Cert most likely and Ant 6 and prob Rapter will both likely be 2016 spuds. Conserve cash and get Certification rolling.

"That note about $ 60 per barrel oil post 2017 is meaningless for this slide."

BS. That $60 barrel qualifies the claims made in that slide.
Facts are more important than fiction.
Even when the fiction makes you feel better than the facts.

You are welcome to that opinion on Ant 7, but I see no indication anywhere that it will be a post-cert or pre-cert.  I think it is still under consideration and depends on the potential certification effect and not affecting FID.  I also think Ant 6 will be a 2015 spud if things go okay as planned at Ant 4.

You are also welcome to that opinion, but slide 35 of Operator Total's presentation states "Antelope South well in 2016".  Nothing about it depending on Ant 4 going "as planned".  AnT 7 is being discussed and in the light of of whether it will be pre-cert or post-cert with the priority on not pushing back Certification.  Discussions are that it will get paid for eventually.  With what is being seen as far as "molecules" presently it's likely GLJ amounts will be met or exceeded.  No need to stress cash.  Horse's mouth.
