Yes thanks for the kind words, it was our pleasure. I'll keep this open for a while, partly out of nostalgia and partly to accomodate demand expressed by at least some members. Perhaps it should now be the Exxon forum, but maybe it's a little too soon for that..

Admin -Many thanks to you !

Admin - thanks for your efforts!  I don't know what it takes to keep this open, but I'd like to see it continue if you can swing it.

The most interest for me would be the dissent process.  However, I haven't heard a word if there actually will be a dissent phase, or if all the talk amounted to nothing and no one actually dissented..  DOES ANYONE KNOW??

Next would be reporting on any legal action.  Here again I think this was always a pipe dream, but there's alway another windmill.

Again, thanks, and count me among those who want to keep the site open.  If it's too big a deal, hasta la vista.

Dissent Phase. Our group dissented with over 50,000 shares. Additionally, I have reached out to our congressman, who is on the House Financial Services committee. The IOC organization deserves the best combination of Government, Securities class action and claw back attorneys we can find. I thought someone would have started by serving them while in NY. Please keep this board- as the singular place we can communicate ideas and action.

My IOC shares which were removed from both accounts by Fidelity when I dissented, have now returned as of today to both accounts after a week or so since I withdrew my dissent.  There is no longer any cost basis or value assigned.  Just the number of shares are shown.  I presume they will again disappear this week and be replaced by XOM shares.

PNG - thanks for the info.  Whatever you can post through the dissent process would be appreciated.

No worry Northoil, the forum will remain open, certainly this year.

Thanks to all for the excellent and informative posts over the years. It has been a great pleasure to be a part of this forum, despite all of the turmoil that has surrounded the ownership of this stock.

We have dissented with some of our shares, sold some, and held some for the outcome of the CRP. Who knows which alternative is best? Obviously, selling in early December 2013 was the best route, in retrospect, but .....

Thanks, Admin for holding the forum open for a while as we still have the certification, CRP, and dissent process to wade through. Under the terms of the YCBA, dissenters should hear from IOC/Exxon regarding their initial fair value offer by mid-March. I also expect the certification process to begin by April, though we are unlikely to hear anything in that regard until the process is completed, perhaps by late summer. Still hoping for a few more scraps from the pitiful IOC table.

I will also certainly be very interested in any information regarding securities, US House of Representatives, Yukon court investigations or lawsuits against IOC, either as class actions or any instituted by Phil. There are, hopefully, more chapters yet to write in this saga, including disrobing Hession's pink shirt and fitting him for a nice new orange jumpsuit. And having a SHU reunion with the money clawed back from Hession.

If you dissented with some, but not with others, you will probably find that your dissent is rejected outright.

Our Canadian lawyer stated one had to chose one or the other and could not do both . He stated Exxon was looking for reasons to throw out dissenters .
