To this we disagree. I speak for many when I say that I don't care so much about the daily stock price movements. Why?? I know IOC owns a large quantity of NG and liquids and I know they will monetize it . Most importantly they IOC management owns large quantities of IOC stock as much as 90% of their Net Worth and any deal cut will be in their and my best interest. Its that quantity of assets and managements ownership position that allows me to sleep at night soundly.
IOC has progressed from an LNG deal with Merrill Lynch where ML was taking a HUGE slice to EWC and FLEX both financially challenged companies to Exxon. This is another reason I luv IOC mgt they keep improving the situation for LNG because its in their best interest.
I know because of this look back that the deal with Exxon is robust for IOC shareholders. Exactly what those terms are is open to discussion. But it will good for IOC shareholders. And IOC will reach Collin V's goal of $250 and Wayne goal of $400 in 5 years if they can survive the next 90 days. if they don't survive its because the NPV of the buyout was superior to the wait in NPV terms.
I suggest people chill about the daily movements and trust IOC mgt to do the right thing. They will.

Huh? You weren't referencing a verbal conversation in your post...and I'm relatively sure Admin wouldn't have suggested a link was appropriate if you had been. Why not just accept the underlying message, JFT, instead of fighting it? What Admin is asking for seems appropriate...and it's not that hard to do.
