RE: How to value ioc after a deal? - cybersssss - 11-21-2013 A percentage of gas in train 3 is most likely IMHO vs trains 1 and 2. Albeit a much higher percentage then 10%. Granted that if 4.7 tcf of gas is used in train 3, this is more gas then train 1 or 2 individually. So ioc would have a percentage of more. Still benefit from the project economics and the ability for png LNG to ramp up faster then a new facility in the gulf. RE: How to value ioc after a deal? - jft310 - 11-21-2013 The extra NG might be gas in kind exchanged for infracture build out in Gulf and 100 percent paid well delineation program. NG is a currency . Agree also EWC most likely not involved in the gulf LNG but EWC could be involved with an LNG supplied power plant for Gulf province. RE: How to value ioc after a deal? - ArtM72 - 11-22-2013 There is also that Japanese ethanol/DME plant that will be built somewhere in PNG. That plant would have a gas demand much greater than any near term power plant in the Gulf. I don't doubt for a minute a gas turbine power plant will be built near Kerema as a first order of business as a necessary piece of infrastructure, but there is no infrastructure to speak of in the Gulf at the present time, hence no major power demand. That all will change. |
