Keeping shareholders in the dark about shortcomings is not a good thing.
White washing the execution issues is not good for anybodies integrity.

You have a point Puts. When IR of IOC tells an inquiring shareholder that OSH made the disclosure you know something is broken internally.

Too bad his paycheck isn't more in line with shareholders returns.. cause the way I see it, he hasn't done much to earn the pay he is taking home.

"The way I see it", you are not much of a judge about his earning his pay, especially if you think a CEO should be able to control the stock in the short to intermediate term. Besides, kommonsents does not like your judging people.

I see the frustration levels are high .
Fact Hession has chased the shorts . How has he done that ?.
Now we wait for GLJ to be proven right and we collect our money and build the plant . Those solid executions will take the stock price higher than ever before . The Total cash payment this year changes everything . In order to get that pile of cash the uncertainty over the asset size is removed . That's the transformational event for Interoil and its shareholders that cash . Hession wants Interoil to survive that long as an independent . This is his way of doing that which is better than seling it all now financially for shareholders who can wait 4-5 years .

All you have too do is contact them and ask the questions.
You will be surprised when you get answers that are nearly 180 degrees opposite two your ruminations that you post here.
When I questioned them regarding drilling results they also gave me the same answer, to wit:
"The drilling results you refer to were not issued by IOC. They were disseminated by Oil Search in a Press Release. We have no control over, and no comment on, the content of their PRs. We don't view interim drilling results, drilling delays, flash fires, rig damage or government-imposed stoppages as being material information to our shareholders or the investing world. This is because Antelope 4 is not on the critical path. We believe that all timelines for certification of the PRL15 assets, and subsequent payments from TOTAL, are still valid .... etc "
