- Bobby - 06-07-2012 I look forward to seeing everyone at the spinnaker on thursday night!! - petrengr1 - 06-13-2012 I plan to attend the AGM this year so I will look forward to meeting many of you at the "unofficial meeting" Thursday night. - Tusker - 06-13-2012 I will speak for all of us. We, this grand group of folks, all look forward to meeting you and all this Thursday. Safe and happy travels all. Cheers Tusker - Palm - 06-13-2012 Pet, will be great to meet you. Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting many new ubers. Hohoho - Justin94360 - 06-13-2012 All, hoped would be able to make it this year but just can't get away. Sounds like a great group will be there and am really sorry to be missing it. If anyone can type 'Maui' style to get the info to the outside world as fast as possible it would be greatly appreciated. - Tree - 06-13-2012 Anyone know if Collin will have our paychecks Thursday night or Friday morning? Also I'd heard ,due to sensitive negotiations, Spinnaker attendees will be subject to 'black out' protocol. This true?? - Palm - 06-13-2012 Tree, just checked with Uber central; paychecks may be in the form of some other company's stock and cash at a yet to be named date. Nonetheless, "soon". Per Tusker, "blackout" will be in effect for those who drink too much Tusker beer aka "Koolaid". It has a way of erasing anything heard or seen for at least 24 hours. - Libtardius Maximus - 06-14-2012 Hey fellas, I thought I was going to be able to make it, but it's not working out that way. I'm sending someone in my stead, his name is Jay Edgar. He's the one that alerted me to IOC six years ago. He's a shareholder with a degree in geology. He worked in the oil and gas patch early in his career and knows his stuff. He wanted to be a member here but doesn't post so there was no history to go by. I know I might be breaking protocol and I apolgize in advance. But trust me on this...he won't disappoint with his knowledge of IOC and PNG politics. And he won't accept free drinks, but you have my permission to offer him one if you're pleased with his presence. He's also one of my best friends. - admin - 06-14-2012 Don't think you're breaking any protocol, Lib. People with that kind of background are always welcome, the more so if they're friends of you. I won't make it either, wish everybody a nice trip! - MRP - 06-14-2012 Wish I could have made it but I am stuck in Tampa this week... looking forward to hearing the updates from you guys. Have fun! |
