ebster123,

At some point, efi will likely be publishing extensive notes from the meeting. After he does, I may supplement with additional comments/observations.

Hello all,

I will post something, just not sure how to approach it yet. Rest assured, from my perspective all is good, I just need a little bit more time to gather my thoughts. Stay tuned.

Health and Happiness,
Hemi

Efi
Let's be direct and look at the slides. This time you and others may have some interesting color but the slides tell the tale. Those slides say its weeks(slide 35) not months for resolution with the PNG govt. One can't go to the PNG govt with out a deal they can approve. Further the slides clearly state the top bids are multiples of the current stock price. So from the slides we know the timing and the price range and most know that Exxon needs NG for its 3rd and 4th train and that their cost structure is over $7 per mcf and that any deal cut with IOC for more NG is accretive to their profitability. The T put into the the Exxon pipeline revealed in Oil Search releases at Gulf Province also should come back up.
So the slides tell the tale. I understand Pet was in attendance and his thought on T-2 etc would be fascinating to read.IOC had the obligation to reveal all of the above and they did. It does us as shareholders zero good to tell a select group things that others don't know about. IOC mgt has delivered again!.

Back from AGM and must first say thanks to Tusker and iluv for organizing this thing and being gracious hosts. It was great to meet everyone and try and put more pieces of this huge puzzle together. I will say that to see and hear how relaxed and confident the IOC management, BOD and Sir Rabbie are installs a lot of confidence and excitement. Being able to meet and talk with Sir Rabbie was a highlight. AND the legendary Pet was able to make it. I will be especially eager to see what Pet will add as he was able to feats his eyes upon the 12 foot seismic "scroll" of T2 and ask Phil/Wayne many questions. I must say whenPhil left and came back with the seismics (This was after the AGM formal meeting when those that wanted stayed and talked with management/BOD), Pet's eyes lit up like a kid at Christmas! It was fun and very educational to watch a true expert at work dissecting, asking questions and analyzing those seismics and getting the answers he was seeking. A great grand finale.

More to come as wwe pull together notes and thoughts.

"Further the slides clearly state the top bids are multiples of the current stock price. So from the slides we know the timing and the price range..."

This statement from above is not quite correct. The presentation says the top bids are "at" a multiple of share "value". This seems like a subtle difference, but potentially is a HUGE difference. The former suggests more of a buyout type bid where someone offers a multiple of the current stock price. The actual statement in slide 3 implies bids more of a bid on assets (such as per mcf) which would result in multiplication of the share price; a much better deal for shareholders. The assets IMHO are very valuable and the bidding is on PRL15. (not just EA) and there are very valuable "known" assets at EA and some other interesting leads within PRL15.
