Phil's actions are BULLISH - jft310 - 04-02-2016 He wants to cut back compensation and eliminate an incentive to sell the company Further Phil has a formula for selling the company which has some guarantees for a selling price All the above is in shareholder best interest.. Management needs incentives to raise the stock price with value creation. We need some changes. RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - CAC - 04-02-2016 Isn't everything, JFT? RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - steve3752 - 04-02-2016 Wow. The times are a changin when JFT says change is needed. Shocking.
RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - ebster123 - 04-02-2016 JFT, your comments seem to be in favor of PM's actions. Is your wording of "BULLISH" a typo with your meaning being "BULLYISH" or do you mean it is BULL LIKE in support? Sorry I have to ask but your points are often on both sides of the argument. If you meant BULL LIKE I agree and glad someone has the fortitude and position to push for such a change. It is about time a big said and is doing something. RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - jft310 - 04-02-2016 We agree and I call it the way I see it without favorites . Hession got us a great deal up front , , BUT How can a CEO think he deserves $37 m for selling the company on the oil price bottom and set himself up to be CEO of a merged company with that higher pay level , source Australian Financial Review I posted on this board . Why can the Board not change the incentives for execs when oil prices collapse ??? The execs did nothing to earn stock at these prices , A minimum floor on a selling price with our assets level makes sense like Phil stated . There is not a single Interoil shareholder who should not support Phil , Phil wants several board seats to insure the company incentivizes execs after shareholders . Who would not agree with that . Phil does not want to be CEO again . Hession Can stay but he needs to align his package with shareholders . If he refuses that's his call but a smart man would stay and build a world class company , I encourage everyone to work with Phil , RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - katytrader - 04-02-2016

I'm going to find me a pretty nurse to take my temperature ! Maybe I'm just delirious, but I am agreeing with his thinking about how we can finally move our "soap opera" (as one of our sharp bms stated recently) forward. GLTALs. Ps - "Great day in the morning, what's this world comin" to" ,,,,,another smile ! RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - Thylacine-2 - 04-02-2016 The only item in PM's list I have a problem with is the one concerning the sale of any asset whose value is 10% of that of the company or greater requiring a vote of the shareholders. I don't have that much confidence in the shareholders, and it would be hard to negotiate deals when they are contingent on a shareholder vote. Although I lost a lot of confidence in Hession when he brought the football coach in as a consultant. Weird is weird. RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - jft310 - 04-02-2016 I agree with Thy . Phil is mad they sold the refinery , and the rigs etc . Phil dreamed of a vertical monopoly no cigar on that one . RE: Phil's actions are BULLISH - AU74 - 04-02-2016 Now if JFT would just stop inserting that extra space he types before every comma and period, all would be right with the world. |
