Can IOC be in play? - Thylacine-2 - 05-22-2016 Could IOC have opened the data room and put the company up for sale, considering all bids? It looked like IOC was actually trying to avoid bids while they were putting together this deal with OSH. Being uninformative and trying not to stir up interest. If so, why? Does Hession have, as rumored, a route to CEO of OSH? Or is the PNG government calling the shots? Whether the terms are fair to shareholders or not, IOC behavior prior to the announcement of the takeover seems rather unusual. RE: Can IOC be in play? - cybersssss - 05-22-2016 The ioc board has already recommended the deal and approved it. The next step is shareholder approval. There is no reason they would open the data room for a competing bid as that would be in bad faith. Only way is to VOTE NO on this deal. RE: Can IOC be in play? - Putncalls - 05-22-2016 That CVR is going for 3 bucks at this point. RE: Can IOC be in play? - jft310 - 05-22-2016 Vote no on the deal quite simple really RE: Can IOC be in play? - Putncalls - 05-22-2016 It might be time for an Oil Search thread of MB? |
