On Thursday 7/26 Exxon releases its 2nd Q earnings. Would guess the BOD meets at some point in next couple of days. For those thinking XOM might be in, could be a topic of discussion for them

The deal delay is for the Asian BOD to met and approve the deals ,Its been said. Exxon might have to be the first mover. I don't think we hear anything substantial deal wise except election results O'Neil is the man and very good T-2 results until late Sept early Oct. I can easily be wrong.

Pretty much a WAG on that Sept-Oct thing though right Ken? With what appears to be a much better election and coalition formation than anyone expected companies/countries will feel much more comfortable with investments. WA has stated that deals could be announced at any time through an HOA as in the past with things contingent on approvals. Much more likely with this reported coalition that is forming.

Yep, but which of them knew the PRE deal was coming, or any of us? I think management is being very close to the cuff (as we saw at AGM) with what they say. WA did say however that a deal could be announced "at any time" depending on the desires of the winning bidder(s). Obviously pps has been popping up expecting something could come any time once coalition is in place which is likely next week.

In the end, I really am not concerned with this coalition in the making. Just do it right so that when it's announced it is solid and seen as being done.

We should hear about T-2 very soon. The rig needs to be moved to start the next drill sight. Maybe we won't get news on the E/A selldown till late Aug. or early Sept. but we should be getting info on the lower part of T-2.

Drilling partners hopes for T-2 news next week. Wayne is paid to be an optimist.Late Sept or early Oct for deal news. No options.
