Law360 (August 3, 2018, 7:01 PM EDT) -- Exxon Mobil Corp. has asked a Texas federal judge to throw out a proposed class action over its $2.5 billion acquisition of InterOil Corp., saying former InterOil stockholders' claims that they were misled into approving the transaction were already addressed by a Canadian court and the suit invokes a statute that does not apply to the claims.

  Thanks.  Note that 7 months have passed since the flurry of class action notices surfaced.  If judge allows to proceed, it will be years before it's all over.
