A shorts bad day - Gator - 10-04-2012
Sarepta Therapeutics (SRPT) short interest hit a new high last month and was around 16% of the float. Stock is up 175% today. The shorts do not always win.

Thanks, Gator. Had not seen that. In addition to the big move today, a couple of things about the chart were particularly interesting to me. The stock had moved sideways for a month before today's rise including a drop of around 10% yesterday. Those who sold yesterday are not feeling so well today. Secondly, it opened today with a gain of about 100%, but is now much higher than that!

Just for grins imagine what a day like that would do for IOC....$77 up 184% puts us at $219 per share....Now that would be a great day to wake up to!

Very interesting Gator; that once in a lifetime gain. This stock ended up 200%. Amazing but shows what hitting the right time and place can do.
