50/50 Timing - ArtM72 - 11-16-2012 According to this article published in the Courier the negotiations for the additional 27.5% are expected to be concluded by November 30th. This would suggest a fairly high possibility for selldown terms (thereby establishing value of the gas) to be determined prior to the 30th. All I can say is when Morgan Stanley made the point the complexity of the IOC dea with the NEC is the reason for its delay I want to go back to the history books looking for equivalent understatements. Maybe the Titanic's first mate saying to the captain, 'I think there might be a little ice up ahead'.

RE: 50/50 Timing - jft310 - 11-16-2012 Using GLJ numbers and the PRE deal price gives you what size number Puts???Is there where Liam Fox got his estimate ?? RE: 50/50 Timing - TxPm - 11-16-2012 Jft Liam Fox never put out an estimate go re-read the twitter feed. PNG Industry suggested the $3Bil RE: 50/50 Timing - jft310 - 11-16-2012
'TxPm' pid='12711' datel Wrote:Jft Liam Fox never put out an estimate go re-read the twitter feed. PNG Industry suggested the $3Bil Ok then. My point is do the math. I may have read to fast. Sorry. RE: 50/50 Timing - TxPm - 11-16-2012 And my point is this how can you do the math when the terms dramatically changed in the last 10hrs. What is now official appears to be VERY different then the terms laid out for us this morning. What mcf are you using and where are you coming up with that number? What is the govt buying in kind gas like we thought this morning or are we talking about them paying for a piece of the whole project? Until the project is finalized as shareholders our investment will not meet its max potential and it's managements responsibility to maximize shareholder value which is why I think it's managements responsibility to address this issue as soon as possible I don't care which route is taken bc both well be much more beneficial to the pps then where we are now I just think the uncertainty surrounding the project has been dragged out long enough & it's time to wrap this thing up & move on t RE: 50/50 Timing - jft310 - 11-16-2012 TX the date is Nov 30th per the published stories for a solution.answer, The PRE deal is final.Thats the only commercial deal IOC has. The PNG govt has approved PRE . The beauty is in the details which we don't have. |
