The optimistic take on 50/50:
We have a buyer
1. "Using 2 separate processing plants" - says the gas not used for power will be re-sold to Exxon. Funding will not be a problem and all the gas at E/A can be booked as reserves in 6 weeks.
2. Lots of cash to IOC - development costs refunded plus the value of the gas - $3B ?
It is Friday evening in PNG, Phil/Collin have already met with the committee - time for an update

The details are illusive but Phil owns/controls 5 million shares and he wants what is best for shareholders and that includes him.
