The short interest is now out and the shorts have been busy.
The new total is 10,091,800, up from 9,461,900 or an increase of 629900 shares.
There were 57263 shares shorted on an average day during the period.
During the period there were 8014800 shares sold and nearly 8 percent were sold short.

The last time IOC had over 10 million short IOC was $25 and 4 weeks later the stock was $10 higher as the predicted bad news never happened. The shorts covered.
