This afternoon's swoon in shares of InterOil (IOC -8.5%) may be traced to rumors the company is running into issues with its Papua New Guinea project. In November, the government approved a proposal to build a 3.8M/year metric ton liquefied natural gas plant; since then, IOC has been working on a modified project agreement and securing a recognized operator of the proposed facilities. |

Separately, InterOil (IOC:$55.74,00$-2.62,00-4.49%) announced that it has advised bidders with which the Company has been in discussions that the final binding bid solicitation period for the partnering process currently being undertaken will close on February 28, 2013. The InterOil Board of Directors intends to meet the Company's advisors during the first week of March 2013 for the purpose of evaluating bids received and selecting our partner(s) for the development of the Gulf LNG Project utilising gas from the Elk and Antelope fields in Papua New Guinea. |

Reporters dig into the bid date deadline and Collin or Phil just may drop a name or two. Word is a robust bidder field including 4 SMs, NOCs and at least JKM consortium representing Asian Utilities.
Where do the liars go now? They've tried to discredit IOC, didn't work, tried to discredit posters on SHU, didn't work, now they discredit our bidders, won't work, then they discredit IOC's offers and partner(s) selected, won't work. They be trapped.
We get more shot-gun blasts and mis-information and bad rumors from them but that only represents buying ops. Thanks Ubers and No Thanks liars, you can stay on YZoo.

Oh Tree careful saying 4 bidders may get you tarred and feathered. Listen we on this board hear things that at the time we think are important from very reliable sources and we post them and others don't want to believe. Thats fine certainly doesn't bother me. The MPA has to be done for bids to be final.. Who doesn't understand that???????Bids are due Feb 28th. Do big Super Majors with BOD turn on a dime???? Hint no way!!Therefore the rungs to a deal ladder are being climbed by IOC one rung at a time. Use common sense ..Buy more IOC.
