RE: What do you think the PPS will be by 2/28? - dorr9352 - 02-04-2013 Ray, I have been reviewing the charts of past PPS movement and trying to compare with recent movements and action and have come across a period of time that is extremely similar from then to now. I am thinking that since there is definitely manual manipulation of the stock price and movement for various reasons that there will then also definitely be at times a similar pattern of manipulation, and not just random movement, dictated by whatever may happen next. We all know IOC is controlled to an extent by either the MM or shorts, or both. Looking at a chart with multiple indicators (Williams R, Fast Stoch, Bollinger bands) check out the period starting 4/20/12 through 7/10/12, and compare it with 12/6/12 to today. It appears extremely close in identical movements, only that the time frame for the movement comparison has been accelerated ( forgive me for using that term), especially as of 1/23/13 and 1/24/13, when the announcement of a firm bid due date came out. If this movement holds true, I would expect to see PPS move up this week to possibly around the 66-68 range and fall back next week (expiration week with max pain currently @ $62.50) to bottom at around 62-63 range. The following 2 weeks into the 28th steady movement up to around the 78-81 range. The only difference that has to be taken into consideration is the pps comparison vs. the chart readings. May prove out, may not, but overall I am confident, once we get past expiration week, we will see definite and positive upward pps appreciation into end of Feb and especially into first week of March. Just an observation I noticed that will be interesting to see if it keeps mirroring the past and plays out like this. We'll see. Good luck to ya, and looking forward to 1st week of March!
