Status of change to the poison pill - cybersssss - 05-19-2013
Interested to hear people's thoughts on the adoption of the new poison pill. Is it currently in effect or do we have to wait until it is voted on during the Agm. My reading of the release is the latter. Any one have a more firm handle on this?

AND NEW BYLAWS
Port Moresby and Houston, TX -- April 24, 2013 - InterOil Corporation (NYSE:IOC)
(POMSoX:IOC) announces the adoption of a new shareholder rights plan (the "New Rights Plan")
which will become effective on May 29, 2013, concurrent with the termination of the current
shareholders rights plan of InterOil, and the Company has also adopted new by laws, which became
effective on April 24, 2013.

Looks like the old rights plan is in effect until May 29th at which time the new rights plan will become effective. I doubt that there is much change in the new rights plan but it was needed because the old rights plan was scheduled to terminate. We are covered both before and after May 29th.
The share holders will ratify the rights plan at the meeting but it will already be in effect.

If they are indeed the same it makes no difference and is just a continuation. So waiting for it will not in any way affect the sd announcement.
