PNG return and self sell projects. 5 year 3 start plan.
My interpretation. Can be others of course.

I'd agree with your take JFT. Note the comparison of XOM/IOC and GZP/JFE as both 'sold'.
On to future deals in PNG. Who does not believe that there is much more than an XOM sale of 4.6Ts in IOC's immediate future? His claim, a while back, of investigations of 'short crooks on E and W coasts' was unique. Wonder how that is going.
Anyone have any color on SEC/IOC from AGM?

While PPL338 is shared by Oil Search and Kina Petroleum, this joint venture is getting Gulf expert InterOil to shoot up to 6 seismic lines over a 62km northern portion of PPL338.
In regards to the ongoing exclusive negotiations between PNG LNG operator ExxonMobil and InterOil, Exxon is not offering much insight through official channels.
“ExxonMobil Papua New Guinea, InterOil and Pacific LNG are in exclusive negotiations for the purpose of concluding a sales and purchase agreement,” An Exxon spokesperson said.
“It is not ExxonMobil’s practice to comment on the content of commercial negotiations.”
ExxonMobil’s Middle-East and Australia development head Mark Nolan recently confirmed that the talks were focused on securing enough of InterOil’s Elk-Antelope gas to support a third or fourth train expansion of PNG LNG."...

A new Exxon train is 24-30 months from FID date. EWC ?? if them would be 24 months and they are FID ready and financed. Total would be 5 years plant construction time. Plenty of time to poke more holes in ground find more goodies.

according to IOC exec SEC ASKED COMPANY FOR INFORMATION AND WITHIN 6 months Minkow was in jail.
SEC recently asked for more information and IOC cooperated.
