Posit me This - Tree - 07-09-2013 Why are E Aussie nat gas prices set to double or triple over the next couple of years?
Tucker.....??? RE: Posit me This - jft310 - 07-09-2013 Can't think of one reason. Whats your guess and you can't use demand or supply or IOC's pumped up assets.Ho Ho RE: Posit me This - sydbod - 07-09-2013 How about gas consumption is still increasing in the east and the price of natural gas will be moving towards a global price as the LNG plants on the east coast slowly come on line (exporting LNG) over the next few years. At the moment in NSW most of the gas being used for consumption is actually being imported from interstate. From memory this is how it was explained in an article that had its source from Santos, I just cant find it at the moment. RE: Posit me This - Tusker - 07-09-2013

RE: Posit me This - Putncalls - 07-09-2013 It's "show me the money" time!! RE: Posit me This - mlbennetts - 07-09-2013 An alternative view is that the development costs for these projects become so high that more get delayed or even mothballed, resulting in a further tightening of gas supply in a hungry Asian market. RE: Posit me This - Putncalls - 07-09-2013 Well then should not IOC see some money? |
