Hession/Pluto/Coleman/XOM - Tree - 07-11-2013 Todays PR:
..."Dr. Hession has over 25 years of international exploration, operation and commercial experience, most recently as a Senior Vice President at Browse LNG Development, a division of Woodside Energy Ltd (WPL.AX) (“Woodside&rdquo
New CEO Hession was instrumental in Pluto LNG Development, sanctioned in 2007 and delivered 1st gas June 2012. He was handed Woodside Browse top job responsibiities and that project was scrubbed this spring.
Pluto was developed as one of the fasted projects ever. Pluto project make up would be an IOC Gulf LNG dream come true. Woodside 90% (operator) Tokyo Gas 5% Kansai Electric 5%
Peter Coleman, Woodside CEO, came to Woodside after 27 years at XOM and Coleman handed Hession Browse responsibilities and was instrumental in XOM's PNG LNG development. XOM knows Hession and Hession knows how XOM operates. RE: Hession/Pluto/Coleman/XOM - Tree - 08-23-2013 Shell owned ~50% of Woodside a couple of years ago. ~25% today. Woodside would make a great operator for TOT or PTEP or JKM. XOM knows Hession. Streamlined confidential conversations can take place, these guys have had each others cell#s for years. Somebody deserves a 'Gold Star' for selling Hession on joining IOC. Or was it just the resource?? RE: Hession/Pluto/Coleman/XOM - jft310 - 08-24-2013

How does that rep carry over? Just sayin'. RE: Hession/Pluto/Coleman/XOM - Petro2458 - 08-25-2013 His know-how and reputation / network in the industry is extremely meaningful in my opinion. If the resources have been marginal relative to the cost to develop in his past projects ...that's just a hand that he'd been dealt...and is not significant to me. He knows how to take IOC forward. I have been extremely disappointed we stopped drilling in the past...now that's fixed...have also been very uneasy about strategy...I.e. Phil holding out for operated LNG...now that's fixed. Shell now clearly back in the mix. All good news. RE: Hession/Pluto/Coleman/XOM - j.coolaid - 08-25-2013

All good news.no doubt it is a good idea to let all others back into the bidding mix..Never was a fan of "exclusive" myself..Most who might have dated in the past their gals or others KNOW the easiest way to get someone's undivided attention is to begin dating ANOTHER..Certainly that threat alone can bring them to the alter and marriage..
