- Palm - 03-09-2012 I know we've looked at this before, but the presentation NGE for Dec 31, 2011 shows more detail of it's exploration territory. PPL 277 is of great interest to us as IOC investors. Starting on slide 6 you can clearly see the trending which runs right through IOC's bext prospects. You can see why IOC kept what they did when they re-upped on their licenses. Slide 7 shows their PPL's and whether they are predominantly oil or gas plays. PPL 277 is shown as an oil play. Then slides 11 and 12 show 277 in more detail. It's interesting to see this on other company presentations. They always mention AE as being prolific find. http://www.ngenergy.com.au/LiteratureRetrieve.aspx?ID=70973 - Palm - 03-09-2012 BTW PPL 277 is the license area that 2 days ago NGE announced they were selling portion of to Esso (Exxon) and OSH. Interesting to read this agreement as it shows all of the things companies must work through in pricing with so many unknowns. On page 1 they have an estimated/Bcf value to NGE for recovered petroleum for their share. http://www.ngenergy.com.au/LiteratureRetrieve.aspx?ID=82079 - Tree - 03-09-2012 Looks bigger than Mrs. Crooze's Necklace. - maui4marko - 03-10-2012 oilypalm, with 277 being an oil play and the pearls having an oily sheen up toward the NW from Triceratops, did you notice (as Pet said over in the WDKWWDN thread) Pteranodon lurking over the horizon? It's even in the same shape as the 277 string o' pearls. Gotta luv the looks of that prospect. However, more near term what might this imply about Triceratops? Could it be the transition point where the sheen begins? tree's head looks kinda oily, dude have you been in the condensate barrel again? - sageo - 03-10-2012 Palm,Maui&Tree-Thanks for posting info on PPL277. When I blow up some of the charts on the referenced presentation,I belive the 14 millon that Xom/Osh spent will turn out to be dollars well spent. In the coming years they(might)make out like a bandit! As you guys and Pet mentioned, the NW area of our PPL237 is looking even more promising than ever.Have a sober(Ha)weekend. |
