That looks like the company is preparing some kind of response, which might take a considerable amount of time given the length of the MW report..

I had to stop reading through the report. It is quite a substantial report to be just a short attack. I think we might have been taken for a ride here. Anyone else read through the report?

Uncomfortable reading yes, but we've only heard one side and whether much, or even any of it is true remains very much to be seen, MW's track record certainly isn't 100%. Like I said, all bets are off, at least for me. Until the fog clears and we have had some kind of response from the company, likely to be a blow by blow denial. Whether that will undo the damage is another matter.
I'm fairly sure NQ security software was tested by a reputable company and I would be very surprised if their partners, like America Movil, didn't do that as well, so that's one aspect of the MW report I have my doubts about.

Keep in mind that lengthy reports we're also written about GMCR and HLF. The shorts throw everything in whether it's true or not and hope that 1 or 2 things are hard to disprove. The company response is critical and hopefully includes legal action.

So is anyone actually holding long this stock right now? i had 40 contracts worth of puts i closed for a 20K loss. I might consider washing back into some of those but i am really stung hard. SamA..thanks for ref GMCR and HLF of which i follow as well. I think the moral i am taking away is stay away from China stocks? anyone disagree with the China component?

I have met Omar a number of times, as recently as this past August and May. I do not believe the report. I also don't believe that they would have gotten a bond deal done withe the likes of DB and MS if the fraud was so obvious. Typically the debt deals face a much higher level of DD.

That report came from Westcoast Labs, I'm pretty sure they're a legit outfit, if not one of the top ones:

Which goes directly against the MW report which called their security software 'spyware'...
Now, I can't disprove much of what MW claims, heck, I don't even have the time yet to read the whole thing, but this really is a bad omen for the credibility of the MW report.

Granitegrab, I was stopped out or sold out of my entire position when I saw no rebound in the price as time progressed. Took a loss on some of the shares today, have traded NQ since it was around $8/share, so overall I did ok. Have learned the hard way, no matter how strongly I feel about an investment, I must always consider first my total risk, and I must always have stops....
Hopefully company comes out with guns blazing and facts to back up those guns, but the report does give me concern. If MW is wrong, I doubt if he will ever be taken seriously again.

So we have MW arguing their security software is crap and like spyware but we have Westcoast labs saying it's top software. I also simply can't imagine the likes of America Movil (and a host of other partners) haven't extensively tested it...
