For those who lived with their eyes glued to the TV to see the spectacular days of NASA from the first manned missions culminating in the late Neil Armstrong's landing and first step onto the moon's surface, we can remember the long countdown that preceded each exciting launch.  And many times there was the dreaded message, "T-minus xx minutes, yy seconds AND HOLDING."  So we've been through many "unpleasant holds".  We are in the final seconds of the expected launch of IOC and are in another hold. We have high confidence in the mission and crew.  The multistage rocket may be sitting on the most powerful engines we'll ever see.  The excitement is peaking.  At the same time the many delays and setbacks have had their toll.  Getting into orbit is the most critical milestone.  This countdown is a little different.  It could come at anytime.  But Mission Control also have said it will most likely happen before year end.  T-minus 25 trading days and counting.  All systems are GO.  Dr.Mike, LET'S LIGHT THIS CANDLE!
