Great Barrier Reef amd Interoil - jft310 - 02-01-2014
Heres an overview of The Great Barrier Reef and PNG. The yellow area denotes the reef off Australias coast today.
Petroleum Engineer Phil Mulacek had this theory that the Great Barrier Reef 100's of millions of years ago extended into the Bay of Papua. They investigated and found over
50 places where they saw oil and NG seeps. The oil majors had given up using an older vision as to the geology. The PNG govt was hopeful Phil could find something .
Phil got the leases and drilled ahead. So far they have found 2 reefs. Not hard to imagine there are more reefs defined as sea shells and fish bone deposits .
Phil was right about the reefs its a shame he couldn't see the need for a Super Major. Hession saw the need and we move forward

Art, I don't see much of that above; you just launched a much stronger personal criticism. Practice what you preach.
