Why No Impact from BofA Stake? - dietberd - 02-20-2014
I am surprised that BofA taking a 5.8% stake does not move the share price. I would have expected a somewhat similar reaction to the disclosure of Morgan Stanley's stake. After all, this is a very large institution backing NQ.
Any ideas why the market does not care?

I'm surprised as well, though I imagine by this point if you're short NQ adding instutitions won't change your mind, the audit is what you're betting on.

Many retail investors are in waiting and seeing mode for audit report. And large institutional investor are quietly adding position without push price too high. Some of day traders and momentum traders are playing trading game.

Might be an awareness issue, No announcement on yahoo that BoA took a stake

Yesterday is a big upper day for many chinese stock like QIHU, CTRP etc. Today many chinese stocks are down for consolidation. This might have some impact on current NQ stock price. Wait for end of day, it might be upper more.
