RE: What is the max pain for OPEX today?? - js253 - 04-18-2014 where the stock ends up today isn't that important. I just hope the mgmt. has a detailed/aggressive plan to restore sp and investor's confidence. NQ's mkt. credibility is pretty much ZERO at the moment, throwing out stock phrases like "keep executing and focused on growth" does nothing. After all, isn't that what they've been doing? And NQ in its current roadmap isn't likely to show any significant GAAP earning growth anytime soon. Meanwhile, shorts will keep attacking. I'm surprised that no one has said "NQ apps cause cancer", maybe that'll be in the next Goldbaum article. Like several posters have said, NQ is far too reactive, seemingly waiting for the next bomb to explode and then try to patch things up. The thing to do here is go on offense, better/wider sell side coverage, more buy side ownership, "other things" etc. Shorts/rumor mongers are having it way too easy, essentially no downside and all upside. That needs to change, right now! RE: What is the max pain for OPEX today?? - Spacchiusu - 04-18-2014

That needs to change, right now! I hope you're writing the company and telling them exactly what you think. As a shareholder you and I and everyone else has a voice and I suspect they have been hearing from large and small shareholders, they need to be pushed! Surely investor feedback must have prompted some of those blog posts from their I.R. That being said, I tend to think they have this strategy and plan in place and are reluctant to veer off to satisfy wallstreet, but I would think that given the turn of events they are now more than at any other time more receptive to shareholder feedback and recommendations. The company has been extremely reactive and not proactive, if they aren't working on something to stabilize the stock price upon issuing the audit then they are not doing their jobs!
RE: What is the max pain for OPEX today?? - js253 - 04-18-2014 I did just write to NQ and agree wholeheartedly that shareholders need to have their voices heard. RE: What is the max pain for OPEX today?? - Mountainbiker - 04-18-2014

Matt did say in the last blog that he welcomes questions. We can all write one to him explaining the frustrations etc. that we have! RE: What is the max pain for OPEX today?? - Mountainbiker - 04-18-2014 $13, not $12. RE: What is the max pain for OPEX today?? - js253 - 04-18-2014 there is really no reason to pin at $13. Not much OI in call until $16, meanwhile for put large OI at $14, $15, $16. That's why I said yesterday max pain at $16, but no chance getting there. Could see a run to $14 perhaps. |
