"anxiety creep" - sageo - 05-07-2014

Maui - If I start to experience 'anxiety creep' over the drop in the pps as Wahoo nears TD, if I called the Dr.he would say"take two ??? and call me in the morning !  As our resident "liquid doctor", what would you recommend? ( a little fun as we wait).

RE: "anxiety creep" - Palm - 05-07-2014

That's easy; VO is Maui's answer to anything good or bad and he suggests not stopping at 2. And the call should be made after noon; AM is for mas REMS on the beach.

RE: "anxiety creep" - Nolan - 05-07-2014

Big seller or taking out stops?

RE: "anxiety creep" - trans - 05-08-2014

Another short raid

Thanks Palm- Yep, (I forgot) VO is his #1 "go to" . For me ,in my younger days, my beach AMs were a bit 'foggy' .

Nolan- Maybe it is the latter. For me,buying on the dips has worked fine, but as anxiety creep "creeps in", the available funds get more limited ! Well,I guess it's "que sera". We shall see. Good luck to you.

Hi Trans, since I can not assess this myself, how do you assess this is a short raid vs. Bad news on the rise?  Just wondering and thanks in advance!!

Here is where Hession's policy of opaque transparency fails stockholders like ourselves.  Did the stock price drop because there is simply another short attack or because there are organizations with assets on the ground near the well sites getting information independently and making decisions accordingly?

All that talk about how bad the "former IOC" was, including the ludicrous "proof" by reference to the times Pet said 'I wish I knew this or that' at least we were far more certain that we had good, if not perfect, information made available in a timely manner.  As they say, sunlight is the best disinfectant, and Lord knows there's a lot of rot and disease in markets today, especially American markets.

Here's a positive take which you can immediately flush.  If you were James Marshal and found gold back in the 1840s at Sutter's Mill would you announce it to the world or keep it quiet?  Has Hession already struck gold but for his reasons he is keeping it as quiet as possible?  I wouldn't be invested in IOC if my knowlege of the wells and various geologic surveys was limited to what has been revealed over the past year or two.  I certainly wouldn't buy if my information resources were limited to the information at SA, Fool and (ugh) the Zoo.  Generalizing that view, there aren't many people buying, some selling and most folks just staying away from IOC.

The stock drifts lower, leaving us all to wonder what does Hession know, what is he doing and why?

Sageo - Palm knows me well and I like him because he always doubles my recommended dosage.  One more of my go-to bevs and the fog will start to clear

Some very good points made here Art. I am left to ponder what Hession thinks of when he considers shareholders. I can only muster that he thinks he is doing the right thing because being a critic is too easy. Clearly the short side has no fear as they sit with glee in our forced silence. All that is left is 7 days before the answer is known or at least a clue.
