I remember Tarules not so long ago (but after the Total deal) argueing we would be in the 30s for a decade. That seemed a bit over the top at the time (to put it mildly), good to see he has come to his senses.

On a more serious note, this is one reason why I don't like the new regime (drastically cutting down on the drilling updates). Always SOME people know, or seem to know (let's not jump to conclusions here yet).

I think the chances of this report being credible are close to zero. This would constitute material non public information. If Fidelity obtained it from the Company, the Company would be compelled to make a public announcement. if Fidelity obtained it from an insider, their regulatory lawyers would not let them post it. Notice we were not given a URL to verify. We are all speculating the well updates will come out soon given the Hession timeline and we are all hoping the results are good, but I doubt anyone who really knows is going to post it on a message board - they may trade on it, but wont post it.

Tend to agree AD. Wasn't too long ago the FIDO talk was if we closed below 59 (which we did), look out below. Instead the opposite has happened. The way things are now its hard to believe much credible is getting out.

Only think FIDO can provide is an update on how expensive it is to short the stock. Perhaps the premium is down to all time low levels and thus that COULD mean that there MAY be good news coming.

Odds are Fidelity sees the short covering and either asks the question to the seller or surmises drilling is going well.  Also FWW I understand MH had met with investors in Asia over the past few weeks.  Plus my guess is he meets with European investors around this upcoming Paris LNG meeting they discussed on the call.  Finally he certainly will meet with US investors after the AGM.  With Total on board and a robust drilling program, he has a good story to tell.

Fidelity has multiple platforms . Taru is on Fidelity's stock broker side. Which means he manages $10 million in client assets or more at Fidelity . Last fall Fidelity changed the research coverage on Interoil . The new Fidelity analysts works in Hong Kong and understands the LNG market . The former analysts soured on Interoil and Taru so posted . The new analysts seems bullish on Interoil . Institutional accounts receive color before retail investors. I would be quite surprised if their is not truth behind Tarus post .
