Sprint is abandoning its T-Mobile bid - pwalk - 08-06-2014
Not happy about this. Sprint is currently the main showcase for NQ innovative products in the US. But Sprint has been losing customers every quarter, and now it appears they will not be acquiring T-mobile. Not exactly the carrier I was hoping NQ would be partners with. I am hoping they are talking to others...

What the deal with T-mobile implies has little to do with NQ mobile
On the other side, that means Sprint have more cash to spend on aquisition.
we all know how supportive brightstar to NQ mobile recently by announcing partnership of esecurity and brightstar 20:20, and maybe it's just coincident that now brightstar founder become CEO of sprint. I do expect more deal announce between sprint and NQ mobile

I agree, it doesn't matter. Maybe the proliferation of NQ Live would have been greater and faster with the combination of Sprint and T-Mobile, but if a carrier finds NQ Live compelling enough they will utilize the technology after some time. Sprint is a tier 1 partner, which of course is good. They need more tier 1 partners.
