Why CFO resigned? - futurevalue - 08-16-2014

Is it possible that the CFO does not see much upside to his pay because the company is seriously considering low-ball buy out offer?

It is odd that the CFO would resign if the reward is big enough.

Judging from the price move today, the downside risk is limited.

Great rebound today. IMO CFO was overwhelmed with work and pressure on his position. His new employment is with a smaller company. The options available to the key players are complicated and his options may have paid off big months from now...he choose a less stressful path.

CFO joined the company sometime in September, 2013.  He might have definitely got many stock options as part of his pay package. At that time the stock price was hovering around $20-25 and now around $6.5. That means all those stock options given to him are worthless. May be he resigned because he thought the share price might not go above $25 in near future(even after filing 20F)??
