MH can say he kept his word - calaban48 - 10-01-2014

September 30 arrived and, a full 87 minutes before the market opened, a drilling report was issued. However devoid of true substance or meaning or significance, and however the measure of ambiguity and doubt said report created, MH can say he kept his word: A drilling report was, indeed, issued. The market responded accordingly.
Palm, if you are correct in stating that the "only excuse they could possibly have for the lack of disclosure" is that the release of material "information (that) would prejudice negotiations in a corporate transaction" can be legally withheld, that lack of transparency is an egregious slight to non-insitutional shareholders.
After saying, "I owe you something by this date," Hession paid a half-penny of lip service today.
After the AGM In June, under the heading "Building a winning combination," MH said, "Shareholders were reminded that we are in great shape."
I think that big green checkmark on "shareholder value" is turning into a pink "X."
Sign me "Unimpressed." The bleeding must stop.

Maybe they could issue another 50 million dollar buy back, and finsh said buyback in two weeks again.

Oil just totally crashed. One possible culprit is this Reuters story, showing that OPEC production is surging.

Unfortunately that is precisely what it appears they want you to think.

Insightful chart choice.   I found it strangely comforting.  Thanks for the sip of Gator-aid.
