Nice rebound? - Bevo - 08-12-2015 Seems that energy stocks along with MLP's are holding up nicely on this down day in the market. Oil is down around 3% but the XLE is actually up a hair. Would love to see some bottoming before IOC unleashes the Kraken! RE: Nice rebound? - Stavros - 08-12-2015 Unfortunately, JP Morgan Whores, Gold Man Sucks and Citi Bunkers all have big short positions on OIL and want the price to go to $30 per barrel. They've said so repeatedly in their recent so-called anal-yses. JPMW continues to mis-lead investors by saying "Near-term downside risks to prices come from the reduced crude demand in Asia." THIS IS NOT TRUE - - - Demand for Oil and Refined Products continues to increase; Demand Growth is slower than before but still quite positive. Let's hope these Inglorious Basterds lose their bets. BUTT they have big buck$ at stake and will probably continue to defend their positions going forward. |
