Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - Movieguy - 09-10-2015 I am told that Evan Calio had a conference call last night with others at Morgan Stanley. Calio said that IOC management is coming to NYC on September 21 to meet with Morgn Stanley (perhaps to make an announcement?). Calio did not reveal what would be discussed/announced, but he seemed very excited about it. Has anyone else heard anything about this? RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - Palm - 09-10-2015 Interesting. Thanks Movieguy. I believe Morgan is handling the Woodside part of the proposed deal with OSH. Can't imagine it has anything to do with that but possibly. Would love to hear of a merger proposal with OSH. RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - Getitrt2 - 09-10-2015 Something may be under discussion or in the works, but there is almost certainly no done deal, since I don't think they could wait 12 days to announce it. If IOC and OSH merged, that would have majority ownership of PRL 15 with the new company. What would be the further effect of that? Perhaps nothing since that would not be the case with the PNG back-in. RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - katytrader - 09-10-2015

Per OSH ASX announcement, Morgan Stanley is advising OSH. katytrader RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - Palm - 09-10-2015

It is really dry here.] Best to you . RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - jft310 - 09-10-2015 Makes perfect sense to merge Oil Search and Interoil BUT the ratio of shares must be fair to both companies . If the companies merged the Interoil assets could be booked because those Interoil assets now would have a commercial path the PNGLNG project . I would think the GLJ estimates could be booked . The combined company could then lever those newly booked assets and borrow the money needed to expand PNGLNG quickly . Could Woodside buy the newly combined company ??? Lot's of possibilities . May the rumor mill start . hoHo. i know Interoil found commercial oil !! LOL!!! RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - Palm - 09-10-2015

RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - Getitrt2 - 09-10-2015 Such a merger would not change the SPA with Total. Just the facts. HO HO. RE: Evan Calio Conference Call; IOC NYC 9/21 - Palm - 09-10-2015 No but such a merger gives majority to OSH/IOC and the PNG government. Prevents any games Total might want to play and makes things more interesting with/Exxon. |
