FT: O&G industry finally standardizing - Palm - 09-23-2015

Interesting article about how the O&G industry is being forced to standardize equipment, supplies, etc. to get rid of slop in costing.  Mentions how auto industry was forced to do this years ago, but O&G companies have been buoyed by high prices over the years.  Now with prices in the tank they are being required to get lean and standardize costs as well as share staff, suppliers, etc.  IOC is likely going through this also as they transition from Operator in PRL 15.
