Roadshow Notes? - MRP - 09-25-2015
If anyone has any notes or thoughts from the roadshow that they would like to share with me privately I would love to see them and get more people's take on things. Everyone's take would be much appreciated by me and I only request privately since it seems we aren't sharing such things publicly anymore.

I asked if there might be information but was told by IOC that it was a "regular catchup with the funds", so not to expect anything.

Thanks for the clarification admin.
I don't believe there is any new information per se but I find individuals interpretations of how management is talking about the ongoing processes to be useful. Specifically, I believe over time we will get a better feel for where management thinks the resource evaluation is going to come out and this color is very interesting to me.
Its in the research guys best interest to lay out the possibilities and play it conservative until the resource evaluation so I don't think we are going to be getting much new from them over the next 6 months unless there is material news.

I believe they let things marinate for a couple of days before publishing relevant information. If it was an "investor day" they would write up a report but then again that info would be posted on Interoil's website. SEE Total this week.

In my major areas of interest, wells and rock, there was new information on Triceratops which would have generated discussion on the board. And there was a hot tidbit that recent seismic had revealed several prospects as exciting as Antelope South. There is a lot to gained and little lost when we treat each other kindly and respectfully.

The investment firm analysts do not normally issue new reports or updates because of hearing background information or "color" about what is going on, but rather after quarterly reports and conference calls, or release of material new information or events, or rating changes, when they so choose or need to. Some of you must not have read my posts today on the "TOT Slides" thread. Stavros it seems ruined some things for us, and I agree with Thy's comments above.

I heard from a source that Triceratops had tight (less porous) rock relative to the Antelope reef. The good flow rates achieved (17.1 million standard cubic feet a day and condensate at an average of 200.3 barrels a day via a very small choke of 72/64 inch), was accomplished using the right equipment and techniques. It seems that this has important positive implications for the reefs at E/A, Ant South, Raptor, and other structures near by.
That same source said that recent seismic work undertaken by the IOC Team identified additional excellent prospects. So far, interpretation of the results indicates it is as good as Ant South. It's possible that some could eventually tie into E/A
Finally, as we all heard in the past, IOC is quite happy with the limited information from the first Raptor discovery well. The additional Raptor seismic suggests it may be larger than IOC first estimated. Perhaps this will be the next field that IOC "sells down" which would include carrying the costs for drilling the next well(s) in Raptor.
