Oil Search Field Trip - Gator - 11-25-2015
If Antelope 6 is expected to less than enthusiastic (and A7 is needed), why bother with 6 at all? Move the rig from 5 a few hundred yards West and drill 7.

Gator- I 100 percent agree why do 6 now ??? Why not do 7 now ???What don't we know ???Oil Search has a seperate deal to Total/Interoil . Those Oil Search results will be made public in some fashion though in July they say . Should reduce uncertainty over size assets .

Gator- Thanks for your post Very interesting to see where the proposed Ant 7 location is placed.....almost due west of Ant 5 . Also the depth of the dolomite bed (in Ant 4) when it is extended southward. Pet's comments will sure be appreciated when he has time. Does that dolomite layer extend over Ant S below.....getting more interesting each day. Best to you and thanks again.

For Ant 6 this is what they said in the annual meeting presentation. Basically just as Pet mentioned with drilling Ant 7 and beyond to the west is to try and intersect the fault to see just how big this "Giant" might be, they have to do the same to the east:
"Reef vs Lagoon
• Well separately appraises eastern flank upside
• Core reef rock meets lagoon rock on eastern flank
• Expect well to encounter lagoon rock
• Lagoon rock can still contribute to main reservoir
• 1.9km east-north-east of Antelope-2
• Site preparation under way – spud 2H 2015
Antelop-6 will test extent of reefal rim to the east, as indicated by arrows"

In other works; Keep drilling (spend and delay) till we hit a dry hole as we expand to see how big this thing gets. Sounds like what Adam said to Eve in the Garden of Eden "Stand back, I don't know how big this thing will get."

If I remember correctly, there is no longer a rig at Ant 5 to move, and it was Rig 103 used at Ant 4 ST 1, now scheduled to go back to OSH. I also believe Rig 115 is already set up at Ant 6 and almost ready to spud it.

That means rig 116 is available if Ant 7 were approved . Today not approved . But we do see a location for the proposed 7 well on today's slides . West of 5. Starts with a proposed location .
If 6 spuds in Dec it's results should be included on the Oil Search reports in July . Wonder when we hear more ??????

If they spud 6 in Dec and plan on starting their Certification mid-March, it would be surprising if they had all drilling and testing done in time. Maybe but ....
