"The ten regional electric power companies in Japan consumed 4.41 million tonnes of LNG in May, compared with 3.61 million tonnes a year earlier, according to the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan (FEPC). The power companies received 4.72 million tonnes of LNG in May, a rise of 27.6 percent on year. The companies consumed 4,56 million tonnes of LNG in April, a year-on-year rise of 33.4 percent.
