Wherever bonk has gone he can be rest assured; the rubbish has been taken care of by IOC:
InterOil helps NCD schools dispose rubbish
Schools in the National Capital District have received much needed drums from InterOil to throw their rubbish in.
Over 200 rubbish drums have been distributed to various primary, high schools and secondary schools in the nation’s capital as part of InterOil’s community program.
The drums were distributed by InterOil’s downstream segment, InterOil Products Limited (IPL).
“We noticed many schools in the city have no proper way of disposing their rubbish so we distribute drums that our terminals would otherwise dispose.
“The rubbish drums are used by students to dispose their rubbish safely and creates the awareness among students to keep the environment clean,” said InterOil Kanudi Terminal Manager Douglas Kana.
Rubbish drums have been distributed to Sogeri National High School, Kila Kila Secondary School, Hagara Primary School, Koki Primary School, Bavaroko Primary School, Badihagwa High School, Hohola Demonstration School, Ted Diro Primary School and Sevese Morea Primary School.
When receiving the rubbish drums on Friday last week, Grade 6 teacher and Environmental Coordinator of St Therese Primary School in Badili, Robert Koivaku said the school needed the drums to throw their rubbish and would replace cartons of boxes that the school currently used.
“We had written several letters to NCDC requesting rubbish drums for our students to use but never received any. Thank you InterOil, we are now able to dispose of our rubbish properly,” said Mr Koivaku.
Each school in NCD is receiving between 10-15 drums while Sogeri National High School received 40 rubbish drums.
InterOil will continue to distribute more drums to other schools in NCD.
How many times can you say "rubbish"?
