Sorry, I don't know how to cut and paste the article but this is a very good article discussing the oil surplus and it give a great view of why tight oil production has not seen a significant drop in production yet and why it is coming. Also this article as a link that shows how the tight oil companies have effectively hedged their production to weather this downturn in oil prices, but with these hedges expiring, these companies are going to take big hits to the bottom line.
