The speed of the Total drilling team at 6 is a reflection of their professionalism . If we drill 7 the team can drill within this year and in time for appraisal completion . Stavros is correct per the Total report the LNG pre works are full steam i.e. environmental , social etc. The most 7 could cost is $100 million and Interoil would owe only its percentage of the total . Costs vs last year are way down they have cut and cut again . Expect year end report second half of March . We have a new operator get used to it .

Our marvelous new operator overlookded the potential for drilling and flowing a new well could interfere with highly sensitive pressure measurements being taken in adjacent holes.

Or like Thy said on the A-6 thread:  "I think the strongest possibility is that they didn't want to hold off starting A-6 because of the presssure test and were planning an intermission for Ant-6 all along."

Or like this nitwit said (who probably has no business posting anyway):  "Might this "overlap" actually hasten things along?  A-6 stands ready for the next step.  Did Total prefer to be ready ahead of time – early rather than late?  Did they allow for unexpected complications in drilling A-6 but didn't encounter any (5 wks to res. top.)  Might it be reasonable, even realistic, to give Total the benefit of doubt on this?

I only know the answer to the last question."

Total's fiscal year ends 12/2016.  Could be they want to push the payment to year-end to have the flexibility to delay it until Q1/2017.
