Haha, LOL, Palm. Trip down memory lane. I should have included this list in my SA article about the shorts, where I argued that the continuous shifting of short arguments shows that that mythical beast, the 'conviction short' is not unlike a unicorn. The ever shifting argumentation shows only one thing, these are opportunists who throw everything at the wall in the hope something sticks. And if nothing does, the noise all this has generated enables them to call the company "controversial"

Agree STP. I know you have quite a few more that can be added to the list from your classic battles with Boston. Shorts are like Custer at this point. Last stand and running out of ammo.

Impressive list. Gives one pause when wondering how this company could be considered controversial. I suppose if you expanded topics like "PNG is too corrupt" (infinite possibilities beginning with Zebra) or added to "PRE is a co-scammer" a list of other companies like EWC, Flex, Halliburton, Ray James etc you might start to give people pause before investing. As they say, IOC is just another Bre-X. ;-)
Nice week last week. Could use another eight or ten just like it.

One can have disagreements about value (which is what makes a market), but even there I don't see much of a reason for shorting. Almost any deal will derisk and provide funds for accelerated exploration in a terrain where PRE only sees 5-10T structures, I like the odds of that. |
