Fools

This guy, Jason Hall, is a serious Fool (or perhaps a tool):

http://my.fool.com/profile/TMFVelvetHamm...ivity.aspx

He apparently doesn't understand currency conversions "currently valued at around $6.83 Australian, roughly US$9.49 based on current exchange rates. "

He also is advising people to sell now, apparently unimpressed with the CVRs "Unless you're interested in owning Oil Search, InterOil investors are probably best served to move on. There's not a lot of upside tied to the Elk-Antelope field certification, considering that all three companies involved in this deal are working together on that field already and the size of the reserves is well established." Say what???

Well, perhaps they're Fools for a reason..

And then we have Chris DeMuth Jr. who, if he isn't cornering Seeking Alpha, writes that InterOil is a promo scheme and there is not enough gas for an LNG plant and OilSearch is making a blunder.

Every time I ask him on what that assessment is based (given the number of resource evaluators who beg to differ), he ducks, weaves, or goes silent. Perhaps this once worked, like 10 years ago, but he's still at it today..
