Still a buy?

Here is Jim Cramer:

Cramer says that he owns Apple because it's cheaper than the average stock and has fabulous growth statistics, a good balance sheet and a decent dividend. Its earnings-per-share ratio still trades at a discount in comparison to other stocks of the S&P 500. "In fact, I like Apple not for the watch but for Apple Pay, something I see retailers fighting but in the end having to give in to because so many people use iPhones," Cramer said.

Forget about the watch! Cramer's approach to Apple

He might actually have a point here, even if I think the watch needs several iterations before it could take off. Any takers?

The iPhone 6 is "fundamentally different" from previous Apple devices, according to a new research note from Piper Jaffray, and we should see higher-than-expected sales throughout 2015. Meanwhile, Android is stalled, and the iPhone is going to take market share from it in a way that we haven't seen before, the note says.

I’ve had the iPhone 6 Plus for a little over six months, and it’s now my primary computer. I used to have a hodgepodge of other gadgets to get stuff done, but I’ve been able to meld everything into just one device.

Apple sold 55 million iPhones during January and March, the figures reveal. This is down from the 74.5 million sold over the Christmas period, but is a huge increase on the 43.7 million iPhones shifted this time last year. Apple will officially announce iPhone sales for the first quarter, or its second quarter, on 27 April.  The sales figures, if accurate, mean that Apple captured 19.9 percent of the market during the first quarter. However, Samsung managed to claim a larger 27.8 percent slice of the pie, according to TrendForce, despite sales of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones not being included in the figures.

Jobs bought Pixar from George Lucas for $5 million in 1985 and sold it to Disney for $7.4 billion in 2006. For anyone else, Pixar would be in the lead paragraph of a story about one's talents as a businessman. For Jobs, it's the fourth paragraph. As with any great success in the world, people want to know how Jobs did it. How did Steve Jobs become so successful?
