Sorry, I thought mainstream medicine was a common term that most understand.  Apparently not.

MainStream Medicine, MSM, is that  collective field of medicine using primarily pharmaceutical drugs, chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery as its primary tools.  Backed by most governments and their agencies and by many world organizations.

It typically forms the basis of single payer and government provided medical care as well as the type of medicine accepted by most insurance companies providing medical insurance.

The MSM system is policed and supported by the various governments and their agencies such as the US FDA and alternative medicine is strongly suppressed or even not permitted in many cases.

MSM uses selective and pseudo science to back its agendas similar to the man-caused climate change crowd and their agendas.

Good luck with that. Don't get ill..

Actually, if we did get ill, MSM is not something we would use.  They treat symptoms and cure little to nothing.  There are many effective ways to deal with illnesses and diseases not available in MSM.

We do not use MSM and do not have any medical insurance since it typically only covers MSM.  As a result of that and our interests in health, we are healthy at 74 and 68.

There is one area where we would definitely use MSM, and that is trauma.  They are the very best at dealing with trauma.

Heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and other typical issues we don't have, but if we did, MSM has nothing to offer.  We would use alternative protocols.  Haven't seen a MSM physician in about 40 years except when my wife needed stitches while we were up in the Grand Tetons and she saw a nurse practitioner who sewed her hand up.
