I'll start here for no particular reason: I'll start with</p>
"The children's health program (providing insurance covering 8 million kids) wouldn't be in existence today if we didn't have Hillary pushing for it from the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue," (Senator Ted) Kennedy said.
Nick Littlefield, a senior health adviser to Kennedy at the time, agreed.
"She wasn't a legislator, she didn't write the law, and she wasn't the president, so she didn't make the decisions," Littlefield told the Associated Press. "But we relied on her, worked with her and she was pivotal in encouraging the White House to do it."
Of course, people can argue she didn't do it by herself and thus can't take credit for the program. The simple answer to that criticism is nobody does anything of value alone. If that answer isn't good enough then likely none will ever be.
